The Board discussed the recent floods in Pakistan have caused devastating of enormous proportions, leaving at least 1600 dead and millions homeless. As area the size England stretching from Pakistan’s north to south has been destroyed.
The ravaging floods wiped out thousand of houses, schools, shops markets, hotel, parks, crops and billions of investment. The infrastructure including roads, bridges, power supply network, utility lines, pave etc… has been totally destroyed in the unprecedented floods in Pakistan’s history.
Foreign response in terms of aid for the flood victims has been slow while only a few of the pledges have so far been materialized.
The Board of Trustees realizing the great problems faced by the people of Pakistan, besides education i.e. food, health and shelter. Therefore, the Board of Trustees are of opinion to launch a social welfare program by the name of NAI MANZIL FOUNDATION to provide immediate relief to flood victim by collecting donations for the displaces people under the Islamic Education Trust.
